The syllabus can be a crucial form of communication between the teacher and the students. If properly designed, the syllabus can help the students' understanding of the coarse. It is my goal to give my students' the information that they need to succeed from day one of this coarse. I have produced a written syllabus and one visual syllabus. The written syllabus gives very specific details about the coarse and how to reach the instructor. The visual syllabus is more holistic and gives an overall impression of what students will take away from the coarse.
